Staffordshire Blue Transferware Plate by Meir c. 1800s

This blue and white Staffordshire transferware plate measures approximately 9 inches. The pattern name marked on the back is ROSELLE. The plate also has the British registration diamond dated August 26, 1848. The plate has the maker's backstamp for John Meir. The plate is in fine condition with no cracks, chips, hairlines or repairs. No staining. There is the normal extremely light age crazing. The blue transfer print is 2 tones with darker florals.
